Mark Stone, MD

In college, Dr. Stone realized he could take his interest in science and math and combine it with his love for working with people. He chose a career in medicine because this was the perfect way to combine these things, and Family Medicine as a specialty provided him with the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people of all ages every day.  Because of the variety of scenarios the specialty presents, Dr. Stone finds his days never seem mundane or boring.


Outside of work, Dr. Stone is an avid runner, running four to five days a week for both his physical and mental health.  He also enjoys traveling with his wife and children, and is passionate about keeping in contact with his and his wife’s siblings and their families.

Dr. Stone has been recognized as a Top Doc 2020 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical specialty.
