Biography

Dr. Matthew Meece is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine. His professional interests include primary care, preventive medicine, hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular risk reduction, weight and chronic disease management and musculoskeletal issues. He is also developing skills in point-of-care ultrasound to get patients faster care.

Dr, Meece is passionate about improving the quality of life for his patients, from newborns to older adults, and caring for the entire family.


He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians. He is proud to teach medical students at Baylor College of Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Meece enjoys traveling with his spouse and three children to new destinations and serving the community through his local church.
