Biography
Dr. Michael Smith is a board-certified surgeon. His professional interests include robotic and minimally invasive techniques to treat gallbladder and biliary diseases, inguinal hernias, ventral and incisional hernias, paraesophageal hernias and acute-care surgical cases, such as appendicitis, bowel obstructions and perforated peptic ulcers. Dr. Smith’s expertise also extends to the surgical management of thyroid disease, soft tissue masses and skin cancers in adult patients as well as children. Outside of work, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with family, including his wife and three children.
