Nandu Gourineni, MD

Dr. Gourineni can’t remember ever wanting to be anything but a physician. The privilege to have the opportunity to heal and alleviate a person’s suffering is a great responsibility and one not taken lightly. While in medical school, he saw the increasing rate of cardiovascular events and the effect of timely and well-informed care on the outcomes of patients, and knew that advancements in the field could greatly impact heart health. The satisfaction and gratitude he feels when an intervention can save a life and improve a patient’s quality of life is immense.


Outside of the hospital, Dr. Gourineni enjoys golf, racquetball, and ping pong. He likes spending time with friends and family. He and his wife and children like to travel and explore new places.
