Biography
Niluka (Nina) Wickramaratne, MD, MS is a multi-organ transplant surgeon at Baylor Scott & White. She performs liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation, living donor nephrectomy, and treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the liver, biliary system and pancreas with a focus in robotic surgery and medical education. She received her medical degree from the University of Maryland and went on to complete a general surgery residency at Virginia Commonwealth University and a fellowship in Abdominal Transplant and Hepatobiliary Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. She is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and abdominal transplant surgery and hepatobiliary surgery by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. In her free time, Dr. Wickramaratne enjoys hiking, biking, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
