Biography
Dr. Yavuz started his medical journey in Ankara, Turkey. After completing his medical degree with honors, he decided to advance his knowledge and skills in the United States. He conducted research in colon cancer prevention at Texas A&M University, Health Sciences Center in collaboration with MD Anderson Cancer Center. He finished his Internal Medicine Residency at University of Nevada, School of Medicine at Reno and served as a research associate at Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center, Center for Epigenetics, Cancer Prevention at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. Dr. Yavuz found his love during these busy and productive years and got married. He decided to move to Austin, TX to serve the community where he feels he belongs.
