Biography

Dr. Fass, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist who for nearly two decades has devoted his career to the surgical treatment of eye disease. After completing his residency training in Manhattan, Dr. Fass attended the University of California San Diego to specialize in Corneal diseases and Cataracts. Dr. Fass adheres to a central philosophy of patient care that every patient in his practice has a positive experience that includes a full discussion of whatever is troubling their eyes and a clear understanding of how it will be remedied. He has led the ophthalmic community in areas of both cataract and pterygia surgery through innovation of techniques and technologies and now holds the distinction of being the first Dallas area physician to offer his patients the procedure of Vitreolysis to create clearer vision for them without intervening floating dots and lines. In his rare off hours Dr. Fass enjoys time with his wife and three children. He is an avid mountain biker and is enjoying the process of introducing his children to this past time, in addition to amateur astronomy and the joys of the outdoors.
