Biography
Dr. Perry Pate is a board-certified physician, specializing in infectious diseases. His professional interests include antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, tropical medicine, academic and private clinical practice, medical administration and clinical research. Dr. Pate’s passion for infectious disease medicine stems from his volunteer work in Latin America that began when he was a teenager. He is a proud member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. Outside of work, Dr. Pate enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, contemporary art (particularly the regional contemporary art of Texas and Louisiana), Spanish language and literature, reading, going to the beach and traveling.
