Phanibindu Uppala, MD

Dr. Uppala is board-certified in internal medicine with 10 years of experience. She also recently became board-certified in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine.  Dr. Uppala relocated from Michigan to Texas to be close to family. She sees both adult and geriatric patients and has a particular interest in obesity medicine and diabetes. Her other professional interests include focusing on health through preventive medicine for all adults, mental health and women's health. Outside of work, sports and movies are a big part of her week. Dr. Uppala spends time at her kids’ sports or hanging out with family and friends.

For new patients seeking care with obesity management, please note that your first appointment with Dr. Uppala will be to establish care and discuss your primary care needs.
