Phillip Wayne Antunes, MD

Dr. Phil Antunes is a board-certified psychiatrist with more than 30 years of experience providing patient-centered psychiatric care. Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Antunes has dedicated his career to helping adults navigate complex mental health conditions with clarity, respect, and evidence-based treatment.


Dr. Antunes professional interests include the diagnosis and treatment of bipolar disorder, where he focuses on thoughtful medication management and long-term stability tailored to each patient’s individual needs. He decided at a very early age to pursue a mental health career due to a very close family member suffering from bipolar disorder.

Outside of work, Dr. Antunes enjoys spending time with family, including his wife Beckie, two sons Preston and Connor and daughter-in-law Carley. He also enjoys reading, exploring history, and following sports.
