Biography
Dr. Raja Edula specializes in gastroenterology and hepatology at Baylor Scott & White. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions. He chose to pursue gastroenterology because of its complexity and the interplay of multiple organ systems, as well as the specialty’s unique combination of advanced procedural skills and intricate clinical decision-making. This blend of cognitive and technical practice continues to make the field both engaging and rewarding in his work. With a background in internal medicine prior to subspecialization, Dr. Edula brings a comprehensive, whole-patient approach to care. He emphasizes developing a complete clinical picture to guide thoughtful decision-making and is committed to involving patients as active participants in their care. He also strives to make both common and complex gastrointestinal conditions more understandable, supporting patients in making informed choices about their health.
