Biography
Dr. Srinivasa attended undergraduate at Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Biomedical Science in honors studies. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, which he completed in 2012 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Srinivasa then completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX, and continued at UT Southwestern as a Diagnostic Radiology resident, graduating in 2017. He went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at the University of Michigan in 2018. Dr. Srinivasa specializes in the treatment of a myriad of conditions involving nearly all organ systems in the body. These procedures include oncologic interventions including thermal ablation and transarterial directed oncologic therapies, peripheral arterial disease including angiography, angioplasty and stenting, hepatobiliary interventions such as TIPS, balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration (BRTO), portal vein recanalization/embolization, biliary procedures including percutaneous cholangioscopy with gallstone extraction, musculoskeletal procedures such as vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty and geniculate artery embolization, venous disease including deep vein thrombosis and superficial venous insufficiency, embolization for pelvic congestion syndrome, trauma, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, uterine fibroids, varicoceles, vascular malformations, and treatment of the prostatic artery for benign prostatic hyperplasia. Dr. Srinivasa gives every patient his full undivided attention with a gentle and kind demeanor. He is an excellent teacher who enjoys explaining disease processes, conditions, treatments and results to his patients and makes sure that each of his patients feels thoroughly comfortable with his decision-making and treatment plan at every visit. When he is not busy treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling the world, attending concerts and music festivals, playing his guitar and discovering fun and new exciting places to visit and foods to eat.
