Rakesh Patel, MD

Dr. Patel was inspired to become a physician after witnessing the healthcare challenges in his home country of Zambia, an experience that continues to guide his compassionate approach to patient care. He enjoys helping people manage conditions like asthma and emphysema and has a special interest in interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and cystic fibrosis.


Dr. Patel is also skilled in advanced procedures such as bronchoscopy, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy, which allow him to diagnose and treat lung conditions with precision.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys playing chess, swimming, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family and he’s always up for learning a new sport or game.
