He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, DO, degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Ft. Worth. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and Tama-Do, The Academy of Sound, Color and Movement.
