Biography

Dr. Garland completed his post-graduate medical training at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX, and remained on staff in the hematology/oncology division. He has a specific interest in cellular therapies for hematologic diseases, particularly stem cell transplant and CAR T-cell therapy for multiple myeloma and lymphomas. He also has an interest in Narrative Medicine, exploring the intersectionality of the humanities and medicine.


Dr. Garland's areas of expertise include multiple myeloma, lymphoma, leukemia and blood disorders.
