Salman Gohar, MD, FACC

Dr. Gohar is a board-certified advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist with an interest in cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support, VA-ECMO and infiltrative diseases of the heart. He is also trained in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. After completing his General Cardiology fellowship in Virginia, Dr. Gohar received additional fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation at the Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.


Dr. Gohar has served on various committees and leadership roles during his career including associate medical director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant program at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple and vice chairman of the Cardiology division at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center - Fort Worth. He is currently serving as medical director of Advanced Cardiology and chair of the Cardiology division at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center - Fort Worth.
