Biography

Dr. Vaseer joined the faculty at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) in 2025. She graduated from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan and completed her initial Internal Medicine training at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. She furthered her training with a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma where she also held the position of Associate Professor and Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program before moving to BUMC. Dr. Vaseer has a keen interest in managing complex autoimmune conditions including systemic rheumatic disease related lung disease, systemic sclerosis, vasculitis and rheumatoid arthritis. Currently, she continues her commitment to education, mentoring and shaping the next generation of physicians, while being affiliated with Texas A&M University.
