Soma Johari, MD

Dr. Johari is board certified in family medicine. She is committed to treating the entire family and takes a personal and compassionate approach to patient care. Dr. Johari offers a full range of primary care services including pediatric and adult preventive medicine, women's health, chronic disease management, and minor office procedures. Dr. Johari earned her medical degree from Texas A&M University Health Science Center in College Station, TX, before completing her residency with the Baylor Scott & White Family Medicine Program in Temple, TX, where she served as Chief Resident. Before relocating to the Murphy community, Dr. Johari practiced family medicine with Baylor Scott & White Health in Austin for 11 years. Dr. Johari is married with children and enjoys exercising and participating in extracurricular activities with her family. She is currently welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans. Family Medical Center at Murphy utilizes an Electronic Health Record system allowing them to better serve their patients, coordinate care and enhance the patient experience.
