Biography

Dr. Kanna is a board-certified gastroenterologist specializing in colorectal cancer, GERD, IBD, IBS, biliary and all conditions associated with the liver. She is passionate about screening and prevention of colon cancer and has a particular interest in IBS. She believes in bringing excellence to her expertise in gastroenterology by providing compassionate care. She has conducted and published original research in colorectal cancer screening, hepatitis, encephalopathy, gastroparesis, inflammatory bowel disease and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, including participation in a National Institutes of Health (NIH) gastroparesis study.

Dr. Kanna is happily married to her husband and has two children. She enjoys traveling, music and singing.
