He took the proper time to review all my records and was able to determine that I had possibly multiple things going on. I was also informed on how to properly take the medication that I was taking and the new medication that he prescribed. He also submitted a referral for a chest CT scan due to my prolonged cough (2 year) of thick green phlegm and multiple failed attempts to treat wit Z-Packs, Oral Steroids and antibiotics. After reviewing images of my sinus cavities and noting that it did not appear to be any signs of infection there that I needed more testing to locate where or if an infection could be in the long or chest area. He listened and was understanding of my feelings and concerns. He requested that I provide pictures of what the phlegm looked like. For the first time in 2 years, I left that clinic feeling as though I may get some relief from what I have been continually told, may be my new normal. He also scheduled me to come back to the clinic for the allergy testing (Poke test) after giving me the pros and cons of a blood or poke test. I chose the Poke test but had taken allergy medication the night before, so I had to be scheduled for a later date. To sum it all up, he was amazing and I'm so glad that I was referred to this clinic and assigned to him. | |
