Susan Holland Heller, MD

A native of Galveston, TX, Dr. Heller received her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center and went on to complete her residency in Pediatrics at Children's Medical Center Dallas. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics as well as the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. She also is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Texas Pediatric Society. Dr. Heller has been practicing general pediatrics in Irving since 1993. Dr. Heller loves coaching families on nutrition, physical activity and stress management. She believes that changing the health of our nation starts with developing healthy habits in children. Dr. Heller understands the importance of family. She enjoys spending time with her own family, which includes her husband Howard, who is also a physician, their three grown children and two grandchildren. Outside the office, Dr. Heller also enjoys crafting (especially glass fusion and paper crafts), involvement in her church, Bible study and cooking. She has twice earned the ""Best Pediatrician"" Reader's Choice award from Living Magazine.”
