Biography
Dr. Haq is ABIM Board Certified in Endocrinology & Metabolism, ABIM Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is also certified by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS). He regularly gives lectures and participates in round table conferences & Tele sessions for community physicians to educate and enhance their understanding and awareness of varies aspects of diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension and their clinical management. In 2014, Dr. Haq was awarded recognition by the International Association of the Leading Physicians of the World. He served as Chairman , Dept of Medicine , West Virginia University Medicine at UHC campus for six years. He also received a Teacher of the Year Award from UHC Family Medicine Residency. In his spare time, Dr. Haq enjoys writing short stories and poems in his native language and spending time with his wife and three teen aged children.
