Biography


Dr. Ibekwe is passionate about providing compassionate and comprehensive medical and surgical care to women of all ages. After completing her residency training and earning the Maternal Fetal Medicine Outstanding ... Resident Award, she joined Johns Hopkins University/Hospital where she served as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. There, she played an integral role in medical education while running a robust clinical practice. A native of the DFW metroplex, she returned home where she served as the OB Hospitalist Site Director/Lead at a busy women’s health center.


She enjoys building a special relationship with her patients. She strives to provide patient-centered and evidenced-based care. Through her warm and caring demeanor, she empowers patient to be well informed advocates for their health. Her clinical interests include low and high risk pregnancies, preventative care, minimally invasive surgeries including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, treatment of menstrual problems, contraceptive counseling, infertility, and menopause care.

In her spare time, Dr. Ibekwe enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and dog, and interior decorating.
