Vipin Prabhu Kuriachan, MD

Dr. Kuriachan attended medical school at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, where he graduated with honors. Shortly after, he moved to the Chicago area to attend Loyola School of Medicine for his preliminary year in Internal Medicine, and he moved back to Texas to complete his Ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Kuriachan brings his skills as an ophthalmologist and an eagerness to improve his community with a focus on educating and offering his patients all options, including medications, laser procedures and/or surgical operations, like cataract surgeries, blepharoplasty, and entropian and ectropian lower lid repair. Additional services include eye exams, diabetes eye evaluations and glaucoma evaluation and treatment. Over the course of both his academic and professional career, Dr. Kuriachan has received a number of awards and accolades such as the Excellence in Community Outreach Award from the president of his medical school for his work in underserved areas. Beside his duties as an ophthalmologist, Dr. Kuriachan also loves acting and received an award for Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role from the Texas A&M Performing Arts Department. Along with that, he is thankful to have two lovely women to spend his life with, his wife and daughter.
