Wassila Amari, MD received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX and completed her internal medicine residency program at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. She was fellowship trained in rheumatology at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Amari is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. Dr. Amari's clinical interests include, but are not limited to diagnosing and treating various autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, and scleroderma. Dr. Amari also treats osteoarthritis, gout and pseudogout. She performs joint injections for joint inflammation and for osteoarthritis.
