Biography

Dr. Billy Ligon is a board-certified physician specializing in Family Medicine. His professional interests include chronic disease management, such as diabetes, heart disease, lung conditions and arthritis; acute illness; orthopedic injuries; sports medicine; preventive medicine; wellness; point-of-care ultrasound in primary care; and academic medicine and teaching.

Dr. Ligon is passionate about practicing medicine in his community and treating patients of all ages. He is honored to teach the next generation of physicians.


Outside of work, Dr. Ligon enjoys spending time with family, including his wife, children and grandchildren, and serving in their church and community. He also likes working outdoors, hiking, biking and traveling.
