Biography

Lacey Sato is a genetic counselor at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University–Hawaii in 2021 and completed her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from Boise State University. Lacey received comprehensive training across all specialties, including cancer, prenatal, pediatric, and laboratory genetics. At BUMC, her main focus is in cancer genetic counseling. Lacey is passionate about expanding access to genetic services, supporting patients with empathy, and helping individuals and their families navigate genetic information with confidence.
