Biography

Sarah Williams chose nutrition because she loves both food and science, and this was the perfect marriage of the two. She decided to go into oncology nutrition after watching her ... father go through cancer treatments, and seeing how much he struggled with nutrition. She strives to make sure everyone has the support they need while going through treatment and beyond.

Oncology nutrition as a field has grown by leaps and bounds over the past decade, and continues to advance every day. There is always something new coming out about how nutrition can have an impact on survivorship, and Sarah feels health care has just scratched the surface on how nutrition can improve outcomes.

Outside work, Sarah loves to hike, bike, keep her sourdough starter alive, bake all things savory and sweet, tend to her plant collection, and spend time with her husband and dog, Tilly.
