Shruti Surya, PhD

Dr. Shruti Surya is a licensed clinical psychologist at Baylor Scott & White College Station. She treats a wide array of psychological concerns for adults ranging from depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and various other mood disorders. Dr.Surya completed her post-doctoral fellowship specializing in Health Psychology at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, TX. She specializes in treating chronic illness and chronic pain with the aim of helping people navigate complex medical conditions and their concurring emotional distress. She also provides pre-surgical psychological evaluations. Having completed her internship at the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System, Dr.Surya also has experience in working with Veterans and treating mild to moderate substance use. Dr.Surya uses an empirically based integrative approach to her treatments while ensuring an environment of compassion, patience, and effectiveness.


In her spare time, Dr.Surya enjoys staying active, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband on their farm with their two cats, German Shephard, and other farm animals.
