Biography

Stephen Docherty, PsyD is a clinical neuropsychologist with expertise in evaluating and diagnosing cognitive and neurological conditions in adults and older adults. His clinical interests include neurodegenerative diseases, traumatic brain injury, the cognitive effects of substance use, serious mental illness, and the differential diagnosis of neurocognitive disorders. Dr. Docherty is committed to helping patients better understand their brain health and supporting accurate diagnosis and care planning.


He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Neuropsychological Society, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Docherty enjoys reading, learning, tackling DIY projects, hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his dogs.
