Biography
Amy is a Registered Dietitian who earned her Master's degree in Nutrition and Public Health at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is passionate about working with her clients to build individualized, realistic, and sustainable nutrition plans to manage various diseases and optimize health. Amy understands how difficult it can be to balance healthy eating and the stresses of life - and she is here to guide you to an approach that fits your unique circumstances. Prior to joining Baylor Scott & White, Amy was an inpatient dietitian serving Skilled Nursing Facilities. Amy is also a career changer from a research technician at Baylor College of Medicine, conducting studies on obesity and diabetes at the biochemical level. She has experience providing counseling and educating patients for: chronic disease prevention, weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, chronic kidney disease, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and gastrointestinal disorders.
