Barbi is known for a professionally warm, relaxed, and comfortable approach to counseling. She utilizes a variety of orientations and therapies, according to the client's individual needs. Barbi's approach involves ... genuine caring, acceptance, and non-judgment. She works with clients from a strength-based, positive, and affirming perspective. She provides an empathic approach and serves as a catalyst for patient goal setting, decision making and problem resolution. Barbi considers herself to be blessed to be able to work in a profession that she truly loves and feels passionate about. She is highly interested in the prevention of cruelty to animals. She is mother to one son. Barbi volunteers for and supports the use of animal-assisted therapies. She enjoys physical fitness, family, church and horseback riding. Her Board Certification is Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners.
