Headache T​​reatment

Baylor Scott & White Health has primary care physicians on the medical staff to help manage your headache symptoms. However, when the pain persists after primary care, it may be time to turn to a headache specialist, who have specialized training in comprehensive headache care.

Treatment plans for patients will be determined by their care team based on age, medical history, type and stage of headaches and personal preferences. Options may include:

  • Avoid known triggers, such as certain foods and beverages, lack of sleep and fasting
