Biography
With 20 years of experience in mental health care, I’m passionate about creating a supportive space where healing can take root. I take a semi-structured, collaborative approach to our sessions and believe in tailoring each session to the individual. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but like to draw from other techniques as well. I am committed to providing compassionate care to help you achieve your goals and live a meaningful, fulfilling life. What can clients expect in their first interaction with me? I’ve always been drawn to people’s stories—what they’ve been through and what drives them. After working in hospital-based care, I now focus on helping clients manage stress, handle daily challenges, and cope with the effects of chronic medical conditions. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward. What’s my role in our work together? My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate, shaped around your individual needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and take a holistic view of well-being, acknowledging the deep connection between your mental, emotional, and physical health. What do I want clients to take away from working with me? Even in a virtual setting, I work to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen and heard. I stay fully present, build trust through open communication, and meet clients exactly where they are. Alongside our sessions, you’ll also have access to personalized care plans and digital tools that support your progress between appointments. My goal is to make the virtual experience feel just as personal and effective as in-person therapy—while giving you resources you can use anytime. What’s something I wish more people knew about therapy? Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Our first session is simply a chance to get to know each other, talk about what brings you in, and begin exploring your goals. There’s no pressure – just come as you are.
