Biography
Why I became a Therapist? -I became a therapist because everyone deserves a meaningful life and no one should have to navigate their challenges alone. I help clients strengthen their mental health, gain clarity, and move confidently toward their goals. Supporting others is my calling, and it’s an honor to do this work every day. What can clients expect in their first interaction with me? -You will (hopefully) find me to be relaxed, comfortable, funny, and just a tad charming and disarming! In our first session together, we will build the foundation of a healthy relationship, get to know your world and set the tone for our work ahead. You will be treated with dignity and respect and walk away feeling like you made the right choice for your life. What’s my role in our work together? -My role is to guide and support. I am not the Wizard of Oz, and I won't pretend to have all the answers to all of life's questions. What i will do is come along side you and support you on this journey. With skill, insight, the strength of our rapport, a dash of wisdom and possibly a few laughs we will work together on the goals we collaboratively establish. What do I want clients to take away from working with me? -Above all, I want you to leave with hope. Even when life feels heavy, you don’t have to face it alone—together, we can create a path toward strength, healing, and a renewed sense of who you are. What’s something I wish more people knew about therapy? - I wish more people knew that therapy was not a drag! Yes, it is work and yes, it is a process, but it can be so rewarding and with the right combination of factors it can be the greatest catalyst to health and happiness you will find. Therapy doesn't have to be scary or intimidating or anxiety-inducing either! Give it a try and see exactly what you've been missing out on!
