Biography

Ian Cary, MSN, APRN, ACAGNP-BC, is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, specializing in orthopedics, with a subspecialty in orthopedic spine surgery. His professional interests include neurological and neurosurgical intensive care, acute care, pain reduction, inpatient management and restoration of mobility for post-operative spine patients.   Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending time with family, including his three children, running, cycling, woodworking and outdoor activities, such as hiking, hunting, fishing and boating.

D Magazine has named Baylor Scott & White Orthopedics the "Face of Orthopedics" for 2026.
