He is committed to achieving the highest standards in quality and service for the patients of Baylor Scott & White. Dr. Walker has been a member of the Baylor Scott & White Medical Group board of governors since its inception in 2019, and is currently vice-chair.

During his tenure at HTPN, he served on the board of directors for 14 years, and the Executive Committee of the board. He was chair of the Service Excellence committee for 12 years, and served on the HTPN compensation committee, the quality committee, and the patient safety committee. His administrative roles at HTPN have included vice-president and chief clinical officer. Dr. Walker received his medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the UT Southwestern St. Paul Medical Center. He has been a practicing family medicine physician in both Southlake and Dallas, Texas for 22 years prior to transitioning to administrative duties.

Dr. Walker is married with two lovely daughters. He is actively involved in their education serving on the board of the Lakehill Preparatory School since 2013.

Previously in her roles as President of Administration and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Administrative Officer for HTPN, Sarah provided leadership and oversight of all practice operations, practice development, revenue cycle, and recruitment. Sarah has been with HTPN since its inception. She has been with Baylor Scott & White Health for more than 20 years.

Sarah received a B.S. in Biology from Baylor University, Waco TX. She went on to complete a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas in 1989.

Doug has nearly 30 years of experience in physician finance, strategy and clinic operations. He came to us from Integris Medical Group in Oklahoma City. Doug received an MBA in corporate finance and strategy from the University of Illinois, and holds a master of divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Doug also served in the United States Marine Corp from 1986 – 1992.
