Passionate, quality hernia repair in McKinney

Baylor Scott & White Center for Hernia Surgery – McKinney offers advanced care for all types of hernias. Experienced surgeons, Ryan D. Burkart, MD, FACS, and Lam D. Le, MD, FACS, specialize in hernia repairs and managing hernia complications. Their ability to handle the more complex, large and recurrent hernias with newer techniques, including robotic surgery that allows smaller incisions, leads to fewer recurrences and fewer complications.

What is a hernia?

A hernia is an abnormal opening or hole in the weakened abdominal wall. When the abdominal wall is weak, tissue or an organ can bulge through. Sometimes causing minimal pain and sometimes causing debilitating pain depending on the location and severity. If left unrepaired, hernias can grow larger over time, causing discomfort and pain. If you see or feel a hernia, it must be addressed immediately.
