Dr. Burkart is experienced in the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He specializes in a wide variety of general and advanced surgical procedures including gallbladder, anti-reflux, endocrine and complex hernia repair. Dr. Burkart is currently welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans. He has office locations in both McKinney and Frisco and is on the medical staff of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco. Dr. Burkart was nominated for D Magazine's Best Docs in 2023. Dr. Burkart has been named a Best Doctor in Collin County in 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026.
