Baylor T. Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital is North Texas' first dedicated cancer hospital, designed to provide a place of healing, calming and spirituality for everyone involved in the cancer journey. The surroundings are attractive, and well-designed rooms are larger to accommodate family members. Additional amenities have been introduced to ensure the environment is attractive and convenient.

Specializing in the Treatment of Leukemia The Blood Cancer Research and Treatment Center at Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center in Dallas is one of few specialized centers nationally. The specialists at the Blood Cancer Research and Treatment Center use advanced techniques to provide expert care for blood cancers.

Breast Cancer Research and Treatment Center

Sammons Cancer Center at Dallas, an integral part of Baylor University Medical Center.

Colorectal Cancer Research and Treatment Center

The Colorectal Cancer Research and Treatment Center has been selected by the Commission on Cancer's National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer as the second of only six programs in the United States for the treatment of rectal cancer.

Neuroendocrine Cancer Research and Treatment Center

The only program of its kind in North Texas, the Neuroendocrine Cancer Research and Treatment Center at Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center, an integral part of Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, combines the expertise of a multidisciplinary physician team on the Baylor medical staff to provide a premier destination for the diagnosis, evaluation, research and treatment of neuroendocrine tumors.

Oncology Evaluation & Treatment Center

The Oncology Evaluation and Treatment Center is specifically for cancer patients receiving care at Baylor University Medical Center. Staff are trained and knowledgeable about the specific issues, symptoms and side effects related to cancer and its treatments.

The center provides care for cancer patients in need of urgent, but not emergency care, during weekday evening hours and 24/7 on weekends, in a location separate from emergency rooms to help reduce exposure to contagious diseases from others. To receive care at the OETC, patients must contact their oncologist and he/she will contact the center to make arrangements for their arrival.

Cancer patients in need of emergency medical care should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
