Baylor Scott & White Annette C. and Harold C. Simmons Transplant Institute at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth and Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is one of the busiest multi-specialty transplant centers in the world.
We have performed more than 2,300 transplants to date—including more than 633 liver transplants and 1,595 kidney transplants—making us the highest volume transplant center in Fort Worth. We also offer convenient outreach locations in Lubbock and Amarillo for kidney transplant appointments. In addition, we have liver outreach clinics in Amarillo, Lubbock, and Odessa for patients with liver conditions such as cirrhosis, hepatitis, and fatty liver as well as other complex liver issues including alcohol related liver disease.

FitSTEPS for Life
FitSTEPS for Life is an exercise program developed to tailor exercise to patient’s specific diagnosis and physical capabilities. The program was initially designed for cancer patients. More recently, patients with liver disease were added to this program.
FitSTEPS for Life operates in multiple locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area including the Baylor University Medical Center. The program permits patients to benefit from a gym-like experience for free.

Affordable temporary housing for transplant patients
Twice Blessed House is dedicated to serving pre- and post-transplant patients and their caregivers by providing a warm family atmosphere and amenities needed for daily living. Twice Blessed House (TBH) offers patients and their caregivers temporary and affordable housing during the entire transplant process.
