Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Baylor Scott & White – Grapevine features a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the highest level of neonatal care in Grapevine. This designation means the hospital has the staff, technology and resources to care for premature and full-term infants needing extra care. Our 21-bed NICU in Grapevine cares for babies as young as 28 weeks of gestation.
Texas Ten Step Award
Our hospital has earned the Texas Ten Step Award from Texas Health and Human Services for creating a mother-friendly environment. This designation is given to hospitals and birth facilities for a two-year period for implementing practices to improve health through breastfeeding, such as skin-to-skin, rooming in and breastfeeding support after delivery.
