Resources for housestaff and trainees

Medical libraries

Baylor Scott & White is home to two medical libraries—Baylor Health Sciences Library in Dallas and Richard D. Haines Medical Library in Temple—both providing multiple services for patrons, including:

  • Article or book requests
  • Search services, including literature and systematic reviews
  • Research consultations
  • Library orientations
  • Interlibrary loan services
  • Study room and computer lab reservations

Baylor Health Sciences Library - Dallas

  • Five librarians and four paraprofessionals
  • Averages between 10-15 systematic reviews per year

Residents and fellows are classified as full-time employees of Baylor Scott & White Health.

Clinical simulation education

The Baylor Scott & White Health Simulation Program supports undergraduate and graduate medical education, nursing and allied health professionals who wish to improve their skills and test innovative approaches in patient care.
