Barret A. Knight, PA-C, is a certified and licensed physician assistant devoted to orthopedic care, especially disorders involving the hip and knee, including osteoarthritis and minor activity-related injuries. He was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, SC, and moved to Dallas, TX, to join Baylor Scott & White in 2023. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. Currently, Barret examines and treats patients in the clinic and assists Dr. Mahmood in the operating room with adult total hip and knee replacement, robotic joint replacements, joint reconstruction, and partial knee replacements. Outside of work, Barret enjoys hunting, fishing, running around White Rock Lake and cheering on South Carolina Gamecock football.
