Bishop Magehee, PA-C, is a certified, state-licensed physician assistant. Though born and raised in Franklin, TN, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Denver. There, he received his Bachelor of Science in biology, graduating with distinction in 2019. Missing the culture of the South, he moved to Texas in 2020 to attend the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, where he received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies. Throughout his studies, Bishop found particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine and surgery. When he saw the opportunity to improve patients’ lives so tangibly and directly in the Baylor Scott & White system, he knew it was one opportunity he couldn’t miss. When Bishop isn’t assisting Brody Flanagin, MD, in surgery or running his own clinic, he enjoys studying the Bible and exploring DFW (and beyond) with his loved ones. Bishop also has something of an artistic streak and loves to sketch and illustrate in his spare time. In all he does, he aims to serve others, especially his patients.
