Brian Mbah, MD

Brian Mbah, MD, is a board-certified primary care sports medicine physician specializing in the non-surgical treatment of sports injuries, musculoskeletal pain, arthritis, tendon injuries, fractures, concussions and overuse conditions. He sees patients in Waxahachie, Red Oak and Mansfield and is committed to helping patients of all ages reduce pain, restore mobility and return to the activities they enjoy.


Dr. Mbah provides comprehensive care for a wide range of acute and chronic orthopedic and sports-related conditions, including joint pain, tendon and ligament injuries, arthritis, tendinopathies, muscle strains, non-operative fractures and concussion management. He emphasizes personalized treatment plans that focus on improving function, enhancing recovery and preventing future injury.

His clinical interests include sports medicine, chronic musculoskeletal pain, orthobiologics and regenerative medicine. Dr. Mbah also performs a variety of ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal procedures, including corticosteroid injections, trigger point injections, nerve blocks and percutaneous tenotomy, offering minimally invasive treatment options to help alleviate pain and support healing.
