Erin Dougher, DO, is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist who treats Central Texans at Baylor Scott & White Health facilities in Round Rock, Austin and Temple. She specializes in treating pelvic floor dysfunction that results from weakened pelvic floor muscles, ligaments and connective tissues.
Pelvic floor disorders greatly affect patients’ quality of life and often prevent them from participating in activities due to fear of an accident or pelvic floor pain. Dr. Dougher advises her patients on conservative (non-surgical) or surgical women’s health therapies depending on the severity of their condition, general health and personal goals.
Dr. Dougher strives to provide an honest, comprehensive and compassionate approach to women's pelvic health needs, taking time to listen to her patients and ensure she makes every effort to partner with them and create a plan tailored to their lifestyle and goals.Â
Her practice has been designated as Axonica Center of Excellence by Axonics Inc. The designation recognizes her urogynecology practice as the only one in the Austin area treating patients with specialized expertise with Axonica Therapy for bladder and bowel dysfunction.
Dr. Dougher uses robot-assisted technology to perform minimally invasive surgery. Patients benefit from shorter hospital stays, less pain, and a lower risk of infection due to the nature of the procedure. Learn more about robotic surgery.
