Biography
Jinnie Bruce, MD, is committed to educating patients about options available for both general and weight loss surgeries. She strives to empower her patients with the confidence to make the choices best suited for their lifestyles and needs. Dr. Bruce holds membership in the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Bruce uses robot-assisted technology to perform minimally-invasive surgery, which benefits patients through shorter hospital stays, less pain, and a lower risk of infection due to the nature of the procedure. She offers procedures including but not limited to lymph node excision, mastectomy, breast lesion excision, port-a-cath placement, robotic laparoscopy, gall bladder removal, tumor excision, and abscess removal. Dr. Bruce has been recognized as a Top Doc 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 by Austin Monthly Magazine.
