Matthew F. Nevitt, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon who sees patients in Dallas and Plano. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist and elbow, including fractures, sports injuries, arthritis, tendon injuries, nerve compression syndromes and traumatic injuries. His expertise includes hand surgery, wrist surgery, elbow surgery, wrist arthroscopy, joint replacement surgery, reconstructive surgery, carpal tunnel syndrome treatment and care for complex upper extremity conditions.
A Dallas native, Dr. Nevitt graduated valedictorian of Cistercian Preparatory School and earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Austin College. He received his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center and is board-certified in orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty certificate in surgery of the hand. His commitment to excellence and patient-centered care has made him a trusted resource for hand, wrist and elbow conditions throughout North Texas.
Dr. Nevitt is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and serves on the board of Dallas Surgical Partners. He has been recognized as a
