Biography

Dr. Gilbert is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant musculoskeletal tumors and sarcomas. In addition, he treats patients with failed or infected joint replacements requiring revision surgery. He also performs standard joint replacements and a variety of other general orthopedic procedures.


In his limited free time, Dr. Gilbert enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing golf.
Dr. Gilbert was recognized by D Magazine as a Best Doctor for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021,  2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Dr. Gilbert has been named one of Texas Monthly's Texas Super Doctors for over 10 years earning him a place on Texas Monthly's Hall of Fame list.
